Coco Ho Wins 2010 Supergirl Pro Junior
OCEANSIDE, Calif. (August 14, 2010) – In true Supergirl style, Coco Ho (Oahu, HI) surfed over the competition in Oceanside, California today to win the 3rd Annual Supergirl Pro Junior. Sixteen of the world’s best 20-and-under female surfers took to the waves to battle for the richest purse in ASP Women’s Pro Junior history, with Ho claiming the $10,000 top prize and her second Supergirl Pro Junior title. Malia Manuel (Kauai, HI), Lakey Peterson (Santa Barbara, CA) and Leila Hurst (Kauai, HI) captured second, third and fourth place, respectively.

Stephanie Gilmore, 3X ASP Women’s Tour World Champion, will be guest host at the Supergirl Pro Junior Saturday 8/14 in Oceanside, CA.

Salt Lake City’s Brooke Whipp Wins Supergirl Am Jam!
Twenty-five of the country’s best amateur female skateboarders came together this afternoon at SKATELAB in Simi Valley, Calif. to compete in the first event of the 4th Annual Supergirl Jam series, the Supergirl Am Jam. After trick-filled heats that left even the judges applauding, Brooke Whipp of Salt Lake City, UT rode away with the title and qualified to compete with the female pros in the Supergirl Jam Skateboard Street contest on August 22 at Venice Beach.
4th Annual Supergirl Jam Series Kicks Off June 30th
Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Comics, and action sports event producer, ASA Entertainment, announced the dates for the 2010 Supergirl Jam event series today. For the fourth consecutive year, these unique events will feature more than 100 of the world’s top female action sports athletes competing in surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding and inline skating. 2010 Supergirl Jam Gets into Gear with Jam Skate Competition
This year’s Supergirl Jam events kick-off on Wednesday, June 30 at SKATELAB. The first event in this year’s Supergirl Jam series, the Supergirl Am Jam, will feature a street contest for the top amateur girls. First Ever Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup Announces Winner
At the inaugural Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup held March 5th at the DCU Center in Worcester, Mass., Lexie Priessman of Cincinnati, Ohio, won the all-around title with Kassandra Lopez of Tucson, Ariz., and Diandra Milliner of Andover, Kansas, finishing in second and third, respectively. Competing were 36 gymnasts who traveled from 17 states across the country to participate. Read more
