NYC Played Host to First Supergirl by Nastia Tour Stop
Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP), on behalf of DC Comics, JCPenney and five-time Olympic Medalist and World Champion Nastia Liukin, joined forces in New York City on July 24th to debut an all new collection of clothing for girls called Supergirl by Nastia. Salt Lake City’s Brooke Whipp Wins Supergirl Am Jam!
Twenty-five of the country’s best amateur female skateboarders came together this afternoon at SKATELAB in Simi Valley, Calif. to compete in the first event of the 4th Annual Supergirl Jam series, the Supergirl Am Jam. After trick-filled heats that left even the judges applauding, Brooke Whipp of Salt Lake City, UT rode away with the title and qualified to compete with the female pros in the Supergirl Jam Skateboard Street contest on August 22 at Venice Beach.
4th Annual Supergirl Jam Series Kicks Off June 30th
Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Comics, and action sports event producer, ASA Entertainment, announced the dates for the 2010 Supergirl Jam event series today. For the fourth consecutive year, these unique events will feature more than 100 of the world’s top female action sports athletes competing in surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding and inline skating. The Supergirl Jam is the industry’s only large-scale, all-girls action sports competition and is designed to celebrate female strength, independence and empowerment. Read more
2010 Supergirl Jam Gets into Gear with Jam Skate Competition
This year’s Supergirl Jam events kick-off on Wednesday, June 30 at SKATELAB. The first event in this year’s Supergirl Jam series, the Supergirl Am Jam, will feature a street contest for the top amateur girls. The winner earns a spot in the invitation-only pro competition during the Supergirl Jam on August 22nd in Venice Beach. Read more

First Ever Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup Announces Winner
At the inaugural Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup held March 5th at the DCU Center in Worcester, Mass., Lexie Priessman of Cincinnati, Ohio, won the all-around title with Kassandra Lopez of Tucson, Ariz., and Diandra Milliner of Andover, Kansas, finishing in second and third, respectively. Competing were 36 gymnasts who traveled from 17 states across the country to participate. Read more
